Chief Executive Officer
Edward Cook joined the company in February 2001, having spent two years as a director of ICE Mobile Ltd, an ecommerce consultancy. Prior to this, he spent twelve years as a director of a leading technology consulting and training company based in the City of London.
Chief Financial Officer
John is a Chartered Accountant and joined AVMI in October 2013. Prior to this he was the CFO of a high technology software company. John has extensive board and international experience gained with Price Waterhouse, large blue chip corporations and private technology businesses.
Business Development & Marketing Director
John Masters joined AVMI in December 2010 and is now responsible for sales, marketing, product management and partnering. Prior to joining AVMI, John was MD EMEA for Magor, a Canadian collaboration equipment startup. Before this John’s career spanned both senior industry roles, such as CEO of Tellit Communications Ltd, and finance roles, including ten years in the private equity industry with Nomura and JP Morgan.
Terry is responsible for all Commercial aspects of AVMI’s customer engagements. Prior to joining AVMI in 2010, Terry’s career has spanned senior roles in Business Planning, Sales and Managed Services across the telecoms and IT sectors, working in both small start-ups and larger multi-national organisations.
Craig’s technical career began in the manufacturing sector, designing and engineering complex machinery for both the Defence and Motor Vehicle Industries. Craig joined AVMI in September 2002 and has overall responsibility for the Projects and Services divisions. Craig is qualified as a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and Certified Video Conferencing Engineer (CVE).
Group HR Director
Danielle joined AVMI at the beginning of 2008, bringing a wealth of experience in HR and employment law. After graduating in law at the University of Sussex, Danielle qualified as a solicitor. She was with Sanders Witherspoon LLP for 4 years before starting her HR career at Landor Associates where she worked in both Sydney and London.
PRINCE2 qualified Project Managers to levels of Practitioner and Foundation. PRINCE2 stands for Projects IN Controlled Environments. The course is very intensive and it teaches Project Managers a series of processes which cover all the activities needed on a project from starting up to closing down. It is also the standard UK government method for project management.

SAFEcontractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the Health and Safety competency of contractors and service providers. Becoming SAFEcontractor approved means that AVMI has successfully passed the strict auditing process on all Health and Safety procedures throughout the relevant departments within the company. This proves to AVMI’s extensive global client base that the company is capable of adhering to all necessary requirements by Health and Safety legislation.
AVMI has a dedicated Quality Systems Manager in charge of keeping its quality, environment and health and safety practices up to date and fully adhered to throughout the company. ISO 9001 is a quality management system which gives organisations a systematic approach for meeting customer objectives.
OHSAS 18001 is an occupational health and safety management system.
ISCO 14001 relates to the implementation of an environmental management system and waste reduction.
