  • Edward Cook
    Chief Executive Officer

    Edward Cook joined the company in February 2001, having spent two years as a director of ICE Mobile Ltd, an ecommerce consultancy. Prior to this, he spent twelve years as a director of a leading technology consulting and training company based in the City of London.

  • John Allen
    Chief Financial Officer

    John is a Chartered Accountant and joined AVMI in October 2013. Prior to this he was the CFO of a high technology software company. John has extensive board and international experience gained with Price Waterhouse, large blue chip corporations and private technology businesses.

  • John Masters
    Business Development & Marketing Director

    John Masters joined AVMI in December 2010 and is now responsible for sales, marketing, product management and partnering. Prior to joining AVMI, John was MD EMEA for Magor, a Canadian collaboration equipment startup. Before this John’s career spanned both senior industry roles, such as CEO of Tellit Communications Ltd, and finance roles, including ten years in the private equity industry with Nomura and JP Morgan.

  • Terry Wilson
    Commercial Director

    Terry is responsible for all Commercial aspects of AVMI’s customer engagements. Prior to joining AVMI in 2010, Terry’s career has spanned senior roles in Business Planning, Sales and Managed Services across the telecoms and IT sectors, working in both small start-ups and larger multi-national organisations.

  • Craig Bonner
    Operations Director

    Craig’s technical career began in the manufacturing sector, designing and engineering complex machinery for both the Defence and Motor Vehicle Industries. Craig joined AVMI in September 2002 and has overall responsibility for the Projects and Services divisions. Craig is qualified as a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and Certified Video Conferencing Engineer (CVE).

  • Danielle Shuttlewood
    Group HR Director

    Danielle joined AVMI at the beginning of 2008, bringing a wealth of experience in HR and employment law. After graduating in law at the University of Sussex, Danielle qualified as a solicitor. She was with Sanders Witherspoon LLP for 4 years before starting her HR career at Landor Associates where she worked in both Sydney and London.

The course is very intensive and it teaches Project Managers a series of processes which cover all the activities needed on a project from starting up to closing down. It is also the standard UK government method for project management.

Becoming SAFEcontractor approved means that AVMI has successfully passed the strict auditing process on all Health and Safety procedures throughout the relevant departments within the company. This proves to AVMI’s extensive global client base that the company is capable of adhering to all necessary requirements by Health and Safety legislation.

We are able to offer a full service approach from planning & design, through to integration and on-going support services for everything from one-off custom audio visual projects to wide scale deployments of standard environments, regardless of location.

AVMI has a dedicated International Business division offering a unique and structured approach to clients' global AV strategies. Where required, our specialist team can design an appropriate service architecture and management model on a global or country by country basis, for an individual customer's needs. This can also include taking care of billing and tax issues, logistics, selection of technology and other key issues when globally deploying solutions.
