Edward Cook - CEO

Ed joined the company in 2001 as CEO, having spent two years as a director of ICE Mobile Ltd, an ecommerce consultancy. Prior to this, he spent twelve years as a director of a technology consulting and training company based in the City of London. During Ed’s time with AVMI he has overseen numerous acquisitions of well-known UK AV businesses, including Impact Marcom and Matrix Display Systems, all of which are fully integrated into AVMI. Ed has also seen the company grow internationally by establishing offices in the US and Asia and by forming partnerships with leading AV solutions providers throughout the world.

John Allen - CFO

John joined AVMI in 2013. Previously he was CFO and latterly COO of a private software group serving the automotive markets in the USA, Europe and Asia. In his earlier career he gained extensive international experience working at Board level in public companies such as the BOC Group and Borden Inc. John is a Chartered Accountant and began his career with Price Waterhouse where he was an audit manager. He holds a BSc in Finance from Warwick University.

John Masters - Business Development & Marketing Director

John Masters joined AVMI in 2010 and is responsible for AVMI’s Global Enterprise Programme, product management, partnering and marketing. Prior to joining AVMI, John was MD EMEA for Magor, a Canadian collaboration equipment startup. Before this John’s career spanned both senior industry roles, such as CEO of Tellit Communications Ltd, and finance roles, including ten years in the private equity industry with Nomura and JP Morgan.

Craig Bonner - Executive Vice President, AVMI Inc.

Craig joined the company in 2002 as a member of the Operations team. His engineering background in both the Defence and Motor Vehicle industries in South Africa lead to rapid progression into management at AVMI. Craig has held several senior management positions and now takes overall responsibility for AVMI Inc. as Executive Vice President. The team at AVMI as a group share Craig’s passion for customer service and technology and this has resulted in AVMI being recognised as an industry leader in both service and project delivery.

Danielle Shuttlewood - Group HR Director

Danielle joined AVMI at the beginning of 2008, bringing a wealth of experience in HR and employment law. After graduating in law at the University of Sussex, Danielle qualified as a solicitor. She was with Sanders Witherspoon LLP for 4 years before starting her HR career at Landor Associates where she worked in both Sydney and London.

Terry Wilson - Commercial Director

Terry has been with AVMI since 2010 and, after initially leading our managed services, is now responsible for all commercial and contractual aspects of AVMI’s client engagements.  After an earlier career in engineering, he has subsequently held senior roles in business planning, global sales and managed services in the Telecoms and IT sectors. As a passionate believer in the synergy of people, process and technology, and bringing his experiences of eTOM and ITIL from these sectors, Terry has played a key role in developing AVMI’s service strategy. His company experience ranges from large multi-national organisations, to COO of a top ten Fast Track 100 start-up.

Rob Benton - Sales Director

Rob joined AVMI in 2002 after two years at Microsoft as part of the multimedia and streaming team. Rob’s background is operational having taken a role to lead the operations and commercial elements of AVMI’s managed services. After being a key driver of services over a number of years Rob took responsibility of the strategic sales team, primarily across the enterprise client base. In 2015, Rob was promoted to sales director where he has been instrumental in the strategic development of the sale structure and growth of the business both regionally and globally.

Ed Foxwell - Global Projects Director

Ed joined AVMI in 2015 bringing over 10 years of experience in AV, most recently managing technical teams to deliver audio visual, IT and communication solutions in the luxury superyacht sector. Ed was given responsibility to oversee the Project Management Office with a mandate to ensure a superior and consistent level of quality in our project delivery. He has achieved this through the conception and implementation of his Blueprint methodology which provides an iterative best practice framework for the department to follow. Following on from this success he was promoted to oversee all project delivery functions and now as Global Project Director is responsible for ensuring this consistent and quality driven approach is implemented across our international teams across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Stuart Davidson - Technical Services Director

Stuart joined AVMI in 2016 and brings 20 years of experience in designing and delivering audio visual solutions for clients at the highest level. Stuart has extensive experience in every element of the audio visual industry having worked his way through sales, installation, commissioning, project management and solution design, including founding and building a successful audio visual business. Throughout his career Stuart has gained certification from most major industry manufacturers, Prince 2 project management accreditation and Certified Technology Specialist status. Stuart leans on this experience to lead the presales technical team with a long term view of customer relationships, best practices and a keen understanding of the importance of remaining at the forefront of industry technologies and trends.
