Our pre-sales technical team make it their mission to understand the needs and challenges of our end users in order to consult and design audio visual solutions that best suit those requirements. We are the team that help the business remain competitive and stay at the forefront of technology and innovation so that when our clients look to us for technical advice, we can provide informed recommendations.

Working collaboratively with end users and our sales department, the initial step in our design engagement is to attend a discovery session where we get down to the nitty gritty of our clients’ requirements and understand any challenges or restrains that could arise. Once the discovery is complete, we design high level system flow diagrams that are accompanied by a bill of materials, and a scope of works document which describes the proposed solution.

The Pre-sales technical department is ideal for anyone who is a mechanically minded and technically savvy. We work on some of the industry’s most complex projects, spanning all corners of the world including Dubai, USA, Hong Kong, Europe, UK and many more. We’d love for you to join our team if you’re a lateral thinker who enjoys working in a challenging yet rewarding environment.


George joined AVMI in 2012 where he has been lucky enough to work on some of our largest enterprise and bespoke client projects. Working his way up the ranks, George now holds the title of one of our Senior Design Engineers. Since joining, he has completed the Avixa certification programme as well as the highly regarded CTS-D certification. This is in addition to numerous industry accreditations with all of our major audio visual partners.

His role is varied and from day to day George spends his time offsite at client meetings talking about upcoming projects, surveying building sites, providing technical support at high profile sales pitches, attending partner product days as well as creating high spec solution designs for our customers. Keeping up to speed with the fast moving industry is exciting and definitely keeps George on his toes.

The role will consist of delivering and installing the clients AV requirements around the UK on a day to day basis. This role will require early starts and willing to travel. The ideal candidate will need to be smart, well presented and extremely helpful as the role will be client facing.
