AVMI is closely monitoring the status of the Coronavirus pandemic and the continued impact this is having on our business, customers and partners.

We continue to implement measures to enable us to continue to operate and support our customers whilst putting our duty of care to protect employees at the centre of activities; we continue to provide remote support to all our customers worldwide.

Subsequent to directives by Governments in locations where AVMI operates, we have taken the following actions, to adhere to the requirements for restrictions on movement, social distancing and to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.

  • Across all locations, most of our staff are working from home and supporting our customers, suppliers and partners.
  • Site work for Projects and Services is managed in line with local Government directions and individual requirements and restrictions of our customers.
  • International travel is at a minimum and we continue to leverage the support of our in-country partners.

To help reduce the risk of spreading the virus, our staff will continue to follow key local Government and health organisation instructions and guidelines on infection and prevention as detailed at:

UK Government response

UK NHS guidelines

Hong Kong Government response

Hong Kong CHP guidelines

US CDC guidelines

India Government response

World Health Organisation advice

We have carefully resumed operations under strict management and are now fully operational within the restrictions imposed by local Governments and customers’ sites.

The status in our offices today is:

  • Sunbury-on-Thames (Head Office and Global Operations Centre), UK – This location has re-opened for key operations that cannot be performed remotely; Most staff continue to work from home.
  • London, UK – Both our London offices are closed except for essential staff; Staff working from home
  • Perth, UK – Open for key staff; Most staff working from home
  • Livingstone, UK - Open for key staff; Most staff working from home
  • Dublin, Ireland – Closed; Staff working from home
  • New York, USA – Open for key staff; Most staff working from home

We envisage that these situations will continue to change in the coming weeks and we will continue to monitor Government updates in the relevant locations. We will continue to up-date this web-page with respect to any changes in the above operating conditions.
